Research Success @ Your Library TDSB 2010
Don't plan your research unit without this resource!
The 2010 Guide for Secondary Students produced by TDSB is hot off the press and available for you to use!!! We have 9 copies to circulate and 1 reference copy at the circ. desk.
We also have an electronic copy you may download onto your laptop. An excellent resource for teachers and students to use for planning Research projects...including loads and loads of excellent checklists for every stage of the Research process, notemaking handouts, thesis development guidelines...including handy RUBRICS etc.
It is updated with ideas for Multimedia formats for presenting data: wikis, blogs, web pages, storyboards, powerpoint presentations etc. Also it has sources for copyright-free images for research.
It is also a link on our Library BLOG!

Word Nerd Author Visit with Susin Neilsen
St. Joseph Library will be hosting the Red Maple Award Nominated Author, Susin Neilsen on Sept. 28th. Susin will talk about Word Nerd, her young adult novel about a boy who finds friendship and solace in the game of Scrabble! All book club members are invited to attend! Stay Tuned for more details.
